McWeadon Leadership | Dr. Badrul H Khan B.A., Ph.D., Indiana University, USA Dr Badrul Khan is the Founder of McWeadon Education. Dr. Khan is an international speaker, author, educator, and consultant in the field of distance learning. Khan authored the following best-selling books: Web Based Instruction (1997) has been adopted by more than 350 colleges and universities worldwide, Managing E-Learning (2005) has been translated into 17 languages, Web Based Training (2001), E-Learning QUICK Checklist (2005), and Flexible Learning in an Information Society (2007). Addtionally, he has authored over 100 papers and delivered invited and keynote addresses in over 45 international conferences. He serves on the advisory board of nine prestigious international journals and magazines on distance learning and technology. In his regular syndicated Educational Technology magazine column entitled Interviews with Badrul Khan, he interviews visionary education leaders around the world. His work pionered current and emerging technologies that revolutionize the way we learn and conduct training in open and distributed environments across diverse populations of learners has established him as a visionary in the field of e-learning and is credited for first coining the phrase "Web-based instruction" which paved the way for the new field of e-learning. He served as a consultant/advisor to distance education projects at the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, US federal government departments, Ministries of Education, academic institutions, and corporations globally. Dr. Plagis has 20 years experience as an educator and consultant in the fields of distance education, multi-media production, e-learning, electronic performance support, presentation techniques, and instructional technology training solutions.She has comprehensive experience identifying, analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating technologies and their direct benefit in the design of training systems and their ability to be integrated into organizational strategic programs. Dr. Plagis works with Government, Academic, and Commercial environments with the intent to optimize learning, offer decision modeling, cost benefit analysis while improving academic and job performance and ensuring optimal learning environments. She provides instructional technology standards, performance, schedule, and system integration; leading teams comprised of multimedia, private, and public sector entities where she is responsible for continuous development and updating of strategic training in professional and academic environments. Dr. Plagis has developed award winning multimedia computer-based training for Government agencies. She develops and conducts traditional training in academic settings as well as via multimedia, e-learning, and distance learning. Mr. Moylan also serves as the Cheif Executive Officer (CEO) of BK Global a services company. He is a seasoned executive bringing nearly 20 years of general management and consulting experience to the team. He has worked with numerous companies including AOL / Time Warner, IBM, EDS / A.T. Kearney, PricewaterhouseCoopers and L.G. Group in various functional roles including executive management, operations, product planning, program management, and business development. He has helped Fortune 500 / FTSE 1000 companies assess, improve and manage global operations. In addition to being an instructor at Central Texas College, Dave has also worked in numerous countries including Australia, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, Ireland, Korea, Mexico, United Kingdom, and the United States. He has served as Vice President & CIO of a $1B computer products and services company and as a business consultant in France and the United Kingdom.
